Mountains across Montana like Albro Lake and Elk Peak are reporting fresh snow this morning with Albro Lake coated in 10 inches of fresh snow over the past 24 hours. with current snowpack depths rising at Albro Lake to 36 inches, with up to 1 inches of powder on its way as the next storm system hits this week. Elk Peak reported 9 inches of fresh snow, bringing snowpack depths up to 17 inches. Forecasts predict another 2 inches of fresh snow headed to the area over the next 5 days as the next storm rolls through.
