8 to 12 inches of more snow across Colorado, California, and Utah bringing some much needed snow to the regions. Mountains across Colorado like Wolf Creek Summit and Berthoud Summit are reporting new snowfall today with Wolf Creek Summit coated in 10 inches of fresh snow over the past day. causing snowpacks to rise at Wolf Creek Summit to 63 inches, with up to 4 inches of new snow expected this week. Berthoud Summit reported 9 inches of powder, bringing snowpack depths up to 50 inches. Forecasts predict another 7 inches of new snow expected this week.


California is also reporting fresh snow this morning with some mountains seeing as much as 12 inches of powder in some areas. Tahoe City Cross reported the most in California and woke up to 12 inches of more snow this morning, with another 5 inches of powder forecasted this week. Forestdale Creek in California enjoyed 11 inches of fresh snow this morning, causing snowpacks to rise up to 68 inches.



We've also seen mountains across Utah reporting fresh snow this morning with 8 mountains blanketed in some more of the white stuff. Mountains like Mammoth-Cottonwood are sitting at snowpack levels around 42 inches this morning, thanks to 8 inches of more snow since yesterday. Those folks are expecting another 3 inches of new snow headed to the area over the next 5 days as the next storm rolls through.
