Snow storms expected to bring up to 17 inches of fresh snow to Idaho, Colorado, and California over the next 48 to 72 hours

Up to 17 inches of fresh snow on its way to mountains across Idaho, Colorado, and California over the next few days with the next snowstorm on its way. Mountains like Morgan Creek in Idaho are expecting to get up to 10 inches of the white stuff in the next 72 hours, adding to their total snowpack of 38 inches. Schwartz Lake is also forecasted to receive about 10 inches of pow with more wintry weather on its way.


Colorado is also gearing up for more more snowfall over the next week, with mountains like Bear Lake gearing up for up to another 10 inches of the white stuff over the next 48 to 72 hoursThe mountain has been getting a decent amount of snow this season, and has a solid current snowpack depth of 43 inches, and the pow should make for some great skiing conditions this week. Copeland Lake is also expecting to get another 10 inches of powder over the next 2-3 days



The next series of storms will bring up to another 17 inches of pow to California over the next week, with 6 mountains in the state forecasted to receive new snow. Blue Lakes is expecting to get fresh snow, which should help increase their 46 inch snow depth by another 17 inches over the next few days.
