Rivers levels on the rise across California, Arkansas, and Massachusetts

Potential Flooding in California, Arkansas, and Massachusetts as precipitation runoff continues from the latest storm systems. Rivers in California like the Chino C A Schaefer Avenue Nr Chino Ca and Brea C Bl Brea Dam Nr Fullerton Ca are at flood levels, and surpassing averages with the Chino C A Schaefer Avenue Nr Chino Ca rising by over 400.5cfs over the past 24 hours alone. Floods can have devastating effects on communites randing from property damage and crop destruction, to loss of life and the rise of waterborne illnesses.


Arkansas has not been spared, as precipitation runoff has caused some rivers to rise by -0.88%. The Bayou Bartholomew Near Portland was flowing at 7930cfs at last check, very high for this time of year, especially considering that the average flow on the river is 1125.8166055cfs. The Bayou Bartholomew Near Mcgehee has also been flowing at highs, as the river depth inched past 23.69ft and flows reached 5110cfs.



We've also seen Massachusetts rivers exceptionally high for this time of year with over 3 river gauges across the state recording flows at abnormal highs.
