Mountains across Colorado like Wolf Creek Summit and Bear River are waking up to new snowfall this morning with Wolf Creek Summit coated in 8 inches of powder during the course of the past 24 hours. bringing snowpack depths at Wolf Creek Summit to 7 inches, with up to 2 inches of new snow on its way as the next storm system hits this week. Bear River reported 6 inches of fresh snow, bringing snowpack depths up to 13 inches. Forecasts predict another 1 inches of fresh snow on its way as the next storm system hits this week.
