Mountains across Idaho like Big Creek Summit and Vienna Mine are waking up to new snowfall this morning with Big Creek Summit coated in 10 inches of more snow since yesterday. causing snowpacks to rise at Big Creek Summit to 71 inches, with up to 3 inches of more snow forecasted this week. Vienna Mine reported 8 inches of powder, with current snowpack depths rising up to 68 inches. Forecasts predict another 1 inches of fresh snow on its way as the next storm system hits this week.
