Up to 16 inches of powder today across regions of Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado making some great skiing conditions for folks across the regions. Mountains across Montana like Nevada Ridge and Mount Lockhart are coated in a fresh layer of snow with Nevada Ridge coated in 16 inches of powder over the past day. causing snowpacks to rise at Nevada Ridge to 53 inches, with up to 7 inches of new snow expected this week. Mount Lockhart reported 11 inches of new snow, causing snowpacks to rise up to 66 inches. Forecasts predict another 4 inches of powder forecasted this week.


Wyoming is enjoying fresh snow today as some mountains are reporting up to 10 inches of new snow in some areas. Powder River Pass reported the most in Wyoming and woke up to 10 inches of fresh snow this morning, with another 7 inches of powder forecasted this week. Cole Canyon in Wyoming enjoyed 5 inches of new snow this morning, with current snowpack depths rising up to 22 inches.



We've also seen mountains across Colorado reporting new snowfall today with 10 snotel gauges reporting new snowfall from the latest storm. Mountains like Zirkel are sitting at snowpack levels around 51 inches this morning, thanks to 8 inches of fresh snow since yesterday. Those folks are expecting another 8 inches of powder headed to the area over the next 5 days as the next storm rolls through.
