Snow storms expected to bring up to 22 inches of fresh snow to Alaska, Colorado, and Washington over the next 2-3 days

Up to 22 inches of pow forecasted for areas in Alaska, Colorado, and Washington over the next 48 to 72 hours as mother nature brings more snow to the area. Mountains like Mt. Eyak in Alaska are gearing up for up to 22 inches of more snow over the next 48 to 72 hours, adding to their current snowpack depth of 21 inches. Esther Island is also gearing up for about 19 inches of more snowfall as the next storm system passes through.


Colorado is also expecting to get more fresh snow over the next week, with mountains like Grayback forecasted to receive up to another 15 inches of fresh snow over the next few days. The snow is much needed as the mountain sits at a fairly low snow depth of 9 inches. Lily Pond is also expecting to get another 15 inches of more snow in the next 72 hours



Wintry weather in the coming days will bring up to another 12 inches of powder to Washington over the next 2-3 days, with 8 mountains in the state gearing up for new snow. Alpine Meadows is slated to receive fresh snow, which should help increase their 68 inch current snowpack depth by another 12 inches over the next 48 to 72 hours.
