48 inches of fresh snow today across regions of Montana, Idaho, and Alaska bringing some much needed snow to the regions. Mountains across Montana like Peterson Meadows and Barker Lakes are reporting fresh snow this morning with Peterson Meadows coated in 8 inches of powder since yesterday. bringing snowpack depths at Peterson Meadows to 56 inches Barker Lakes reported 7 inches of fresh snow, causing snowpacks to rise up to 64 inches.


Idaho mountains got a fresh coat of snow this morning, with up to 48 inches of new snow in some areas. Crater Meadows reported the most in Idaho and woke up to 48 inches of fresh snow this morning. Bogus Basin in Idaho enjoyed 3 inches of powder this morning, causing snowpacks to rise up to 52 inches.



We've also seen mountains across Alaska waking up to new snowfall this morning with 10 mountains covered in another layer of powder. Mountains like Monument Creek are sitting at snowpack levels around 55 inches this morning, thanks to 15 inches of fresh snow since yesterday.
