28" of snowfall headed to Badger Pass Ski Area

2018-03-01: Massive storm systems will dump 28 inches of snowfall to Badger Pass Ski Area. The mountain has been getting a decent amount of snow this season, and has a NA inch total snowpack, and more accumulation is expected, with powder hungry skiiers and riders preparing as severe wintry weather are likely


With so much snow on its way, the NWS has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the ski area. Folks should be aware about Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 18 to 23 inches, with localized amounts up to 43 inches, are expected. * . Travel will be very difficult to impossible, including during the evening commute. Damage to trees and power lines is likely. Be prepared for significant reductions in visibility at times.. The alert is in effect until 2018-03-03T10:00:00-08:00.



Other ski resorts slated to receive snow over the next 48 to 72 hours are Bear Valley Mountain Resort in California gearing up for 49 inches of snow and Beaver Mountain Ski Area forecasted to receive 15 more inches in the next 72 hours
