Located in the stunning Arapaho National Forest, the Byers Creek Camping area offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and forest. The campground has 17 primitive campsites, and amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets. The area offers hiking trails, fishing spots, and opportunities for wildlife viewing. The campground operates on a first-come-first-serve basis, so arrive early to secure a spot. The best time to visit is from June to September when temperatures range from 50-80°F during the day and 30-50°F at night. Be sure to pack warm clothing for the cooler temperatures.
