Comanche Lake is situated in the San Luis Valley in South-Central Colorado, USA. The lake is known for its abundance of Rainbow trout, Brown trout, Cutthroat trout, and Kokanee salmon. Besides fishing, you can take part in activities such as camping, hiking, and wildlife viewing. Anglers can take advantage of the clear water and use flies, lures or bait to catch their fish. The best time to visit Comanche Lake is between June and October for the most productive fishing. In July, the average temperature is 82°F during the day and 44°F at night.
