FLOW REPORT

Rivers and watersheds across the United States are experiencing significant variations in streamflows, with some reporting above-average volumes, while others fall below their historical norms. For instance, the mighty Mississippi River is swelling notably at key locations such as Vicksburg, MS, and Baton Rouge, LA, which could lead to heightened vigilance in these major cities. On another front, the Ohio River is witnessing substantial streamflows in areas like Cannelton, IN, and Warsaw, KY. In contrast, the Upper Neches watershed in Texas is bursting at an astonishing 259.56% above normal, bringing attention to potential flooding concerns. Meanwhile, the Sabine River, vital to both Texas and Louisiana, is also experiencing high streamflows, likely impacting ecological systems and outdoor activities.

In the Southeast, the Suwannee and Ochlockonee rivers in Florida and Georgia are well above their usual levels, signaling a boon for water resources but also a risk for flooding in adjacent ... Read More
