Vienna Mine reported 8 inches of powder, with current snowpack depths rising up to 68 inches. Forecasts predict another 1 inches of fresh snow on its way as the next storm system hits this week.
Oregon is enjoying fresh snow today as some mountains are reporting up to 9 inches of powder in some areas. Schneider Meadows reported the most in Oregon and woke up to 9 inches of new snow this morning, with another 1 inches of fresh snow forecasted this week. Taylor Green in Oregon enjoyed 8 inches of fresh snow this morning, causing snowpacks to rise up to 38 inches.
We've also seen mountains across Washington coated in a fresh layer of snow with 8 mountains covered in another layer of powder. Mountains like Lyman Lake are sitting at snowpack levels around 136 inches this morning, thanks to 8 inches of new snow since yesterday. Those folks are expecting another 9 inches of new snow headed to the area over the next 5 days as the next storm rolls through.
