3 to 6 inches of fresh snow across Montana, Colorado, and Wyoming

Up to 6 inches of fresh snow today across regions of Montana, Colorado, and Wyoming bringing some much needed snow to the regions. Mountains across Montana like Flattop Mtn. and North Fork Jocko are coated in a fresh layer of snow with Flattop Mtn. coated in 6 inches of powder over the past day. with current snowpack depths rising at Flattop Mtn. to 150 inches, with up to 3 inches of fresh snow expected this week. North Fork Jocko reported 4 inches of powder, causing snowpacks to rise up to 162 inches. Forecasts predict another 7 inches of powder on its way as the next storm system hits this week.


Colorado is enjoying fresh snow today as some mountains are reporting up to 5 inches of fresh snow in some areas. Beartown reported the most in Colorado and woke up to 5 inches of new snow this morning, with another 1 inches of powder forecasted this week. Nast Lake in Colorado enjoyed 3 inches of new snow this morning, with current snowpack depths rising up to 8 inches.



We've also seen mountains across Wyoming reporting fresh snow this morning with 3 mountains covered in another layer of powder. Mountains like Sage Creek Basin are sitting at snowpack levels around 25 inches this morning, thanks to 4 inches of more snow over the past day. Those folks are expecting another 4 inches of new snow on its way as the next storm system hits this week.
