Rivers in Florida like the Lake Tarpon Canal At S-551 and St. Johns River Nr Sanford are at flood levels, and surpassing averages with the Lake Tarpon Canal At S-551 rising by over 156.7cfs over the past 24 hours alone. Floods can have devastating effects on communites randing from property damage and crop destruction, to loss of life and the rise of waterborne illnesses.
