Up to 14 inches of fresh snow today across regions of California, Nevada, and Washington

14 inches of new snow today across regions of California, Nevada, and Washington bringing some much needed snow to the regions. Mountains across California like Leavitt Lake and Summit Meadow are waking up to new snowfall this morning with Leavitt Lake coated in 14 inches of fresh snow since yesterday. with current snowpack depths rising at Leavitt Lake to 141 inches, with up to 2 inches of powder forecasted this week. Summit Meadow reported 11 inches of new snow, bringing snowpack depths up to 60 inches. Forecasts predict another 2 inches of more snow on its way as the next storm system hits this week.


Nevada is enjoying fresh snow today as some mountains are reporting up to 4 inches of more snow in some areas. Jack Creek Upper reported the most in Nevada and woke up to 4 inches of more snow this morning, with another 1 inches of new snow on its way as the next storm system hits this week. Seventysix Creek in Nevada enjoyed 4 inches of more snow this morning, with current snowpack depths rising up to 24 inches.



We've also seen mountains across Washington waking up to new snowfall this morning with 7 mountains blanketed in some more of the white stuff. Mountains like Lyman Lake are sitting at snowpack levels around 151 inches this morning, thanks to 4 inches of new snow over the past day. Those folks are expecting another 7 inches of fresh snow forecasted this week.
