The North Spit boat ramp is located in Coos Bay, Oregon and provides access to the Pacific Ocean. It is a concrete ramp that is 2 lanes wide and has a length of approximately 225 feet. The ramp is owned and operated by the Port of Coos Bay.

The North Spit boat ramp is suitable for launching and retrieving a variety of vessels such as fishing boats, recreational boats, kayaks, and canoes. Boats can be launched during high tide and low tide, though it is recommended to launch during high tide when the water level is higher.

According to the Oregon State Marine Board, the North Spit boat ramp requires a launch permit for all motorized boats. Additionally, all boats must carry proper safety equipment, including personal flotation devices for every person on board, a sound signalling device, and navigation lights for boats operating after sunset.

The latest information available as of September 2021 confirms that the North Spit boat ramp is open to the public and accessible year-round. However, it is always recommended to check for any updates or changes in regulations or access before planning a trip to the North Spit boat ramp.
