According to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, the Lee Highway 5475 boat ramp in Bean Station is a concrete ramp with a single lane. The ramp is 30 feet wide and has a maximum parking capacity of 30 vehicles. It services the Cherokee Lake, a reservoir located in eastern Tennessee.
Cherokee Lake covers an area of 30,300 acres and has a maximum depth of 59 feet. The lake is popular among anglers for its various species of fish, including bass, crappie, and catfish.
The Lee Highway 5475 boat ramp permits various types of watercraft, including motorboats, fishing boats, and canoes/kayaks. However, the TWRA advises that boaters should always check the lake's water levels and weather conditions before launching any watercraft.
