Winds gusting as high as 45 mph Friday afternoon into Friday night. * WHERE...Garrett County. * WHEN...Until midnight EST Friday Night. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the commutes through Friday evening. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Near blizzard conditions are possible Friday. Snow may transition to a period of freezing rain or drizzle Friday night into Saturday morning.
