Located near the town of Payson, the campground is close to many popular hiking trails, including the Horton Creek Trail and the Rim Trail. The campground features 26 campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Amenities include vault toilets and drinking water. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis and is open seasonally from May through October. The best time to visit is during the summer months when temperatures hover around 80 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and drop to the 50s at night. Visitors can enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing in this picturesque area.
