The Little Wood River USBR camping area is situated in the heart of Idaho and offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, forests, and rivers. Nearby points of interest include the Sawtooth National Forest, Craters of the Moon National Monument, and the Sun Valley Ski Resort. The campground amenities include pit toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and potable water. The camping area operates on a first-come-first-serve basis and provides 10 campsites for tents and smaller RVs. The best time to visit is during the summer months when temperatures average around 75°F during the day and 50°F at night. Visitors can enjoy hiking, fishing, and swimming in the nearby Little Wood River.
