Little Paint Creek Campground is situated in the scenic northeast Iowa region, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning views of the Paint Creek Valley. The area is perfect for hiking, fishing, and exploring the nearby towns of Decorah and Calmar. The campground features 25 campsites, equipped with electric hookups, fire pits, and picnic tables. The area also has restrooms, showers, and a dump station. The campground operates on a first-come-first-serve basis, but reservations can be made for group sites. The best time to visit is during the summer months when temperatures range from 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit. However, fall is also a popular time for camping with cooler temperatures and colorful foliage. Overall, Little Paint Creek is an amazing spot for nature enthusiasts looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway.
