Long Shoal Campground at Harry S Truman Lake is located in Missouri and offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding hills. Nearby attractions include Truman Reservoir, which offers fishing and boating opportunities, and the historic town of Warsaw. The campground offers a range of amenities, including a boat ramp, picnic tables, showers, and electric hookups. Reservations are recommended, but some first-come, first-serve sites are available. There are 151 campsites available, including both RV and tent sites. The best time to visit is during the spring and fall when temperatures are mild, averaging around 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit. However, summer temperatures can reach up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit, making it a popular destination for water activities.
