Totogatic Park camping area is located in Washburn County, Wisconsin, surrounded by beautiful scenic views of the Northwoods. The park is adjacent to the Totogatic River, offering opportunities for fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. The park is also close to the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, which provides excellent hiking and biking trails for visitors. Nearby points of interest include the Cable Natural History Museum, the Wildcat Mountain Bike Trail, and the Copper Falls State Park.

The campground amenities include electrical hookups, a dump station, potable water, and vault toilets. The park has 28 campsites available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and reservations are not currently accepted.

An interesting fact about the area is that the park was once used as a logging camp in the early 1900s. The Totogatic River was used to transport logs downstream to sawmills.

The best time of year to visit Totogatic Park is during the summer months, from June to August, with average temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to low 80s Fahrenheit. The fall season is also a beautiful time to visit with the changing colors of the leaves. However, visitors should be aware that the park is only open from May to October.
