Tickfaw State Park is a beautiful camping area located in Springfield, Louisiana that boasts stunning surrounding views and a range of nearby points of interest. The campground amenities include picnic tables, fire pits, and showers. It is a first-come-first-serve campground, but reservations can be made online for certain campsites. There are a total of 30 campsites available, including 20 RV sites with hookups.

One interesting fact about Tickfaw State Park is that it is home to over 600 species of plants and animals, including the rare Louisiana pine snake.

The best time of year to visit is in the fall, from September to November, when temperatures range from 50-70 degrees Fahrenheit. This time of year offers pleasant weather for outdoor activities and beautiful fall foliage.
