Cimarroncito Camping Area in New Mexico is a beautiful, first-come-first-served camping spot with incredible views of the surrounding mountains. With access to hiking trails right from the campground, visitors can explore the stunning wilderness of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. There are 30 campsites available, and the best time to visit is from May to October when temperatures range from 50-80 degrees Fahrenheit.
