The Lost Gap Campground in New Mexico is a picturesque camping spot with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. It is located near the Gila National Forest, which offers plenty of opportunities for hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing. The campground has basic amenities, including restrooms and picnic tables, but does not have showers or RV hookups. The area is first-come, first-served with 10 campsites available. The best time to visit is during the summer months when temperatures range from 70-90 degrees Fahrenheit. Visitors can also enjoy the fall colors during September and October. The campground is remote, so it is recommended to come prepared with plenty of supplies.
