There are 10 first-come-first-served campsites that are basic but have picnic tables, fire rings and vault toilets. The best time to visit is from June to September when the average temperature is around 70°F. Hikers can access the North Umpqua Trail, while anglers can fish for trout in the creek. There is no drinking water available on-site, so visitors need to bring their own. The area is quiet and peaceful, with no cell phone service, making it perfect for a digital detox.
