Activities include hiking, bird watching, and wildlife viewing, including the chance to see pronghorn antelope and bighorn sheep. The campground has 17 sites, each with a picnic table and fire pit, as well as vault toilets and potable water. The campground is first-come, first-served and is open from May through November, with the best time to visit being in the fall when temperatures are cooler, averaging around 50-60°F during the day.
