Located in the heart of the Willamette National Forest, Campsite No. 1 is a popular camping area in Oregon. The campground boasts stunning views of the nearby Santiam River, and the surrounding forest offers many opportunities for hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing. The area has 17 campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and a fire ring. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water. The campground is first-come, first-served, and the best time to visit is from late spring to early fall when temperatures range from 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and 40-60 degrees Fahrenheit at night.
