Swing Arm City OHV Dispersed Camping Area is located in the heart of Utah's San Rafael Swell region. This off-highway vehicle (OHV) friendly camping area offers stunning views of the surrounding red rock canyons and mesas. Visitors can enjoy exploring the nearby trails and roads on their OHVs or hiking and mountain biking in the area. Additionally, the nearby Goblin Valley State Park and Little Wild Horse Canyon offer unique geological formations and hiking opportunities.

The campground amenities include dispersed camping sites with fire pits and picnic tables, vault toilets, and no potable water. It is a first-come-first-serve campground with 60 campsites available.

An interesting fact about the area is that it was once a uranium mining site and still has remnants of mining equipment and buildings scattered throughout the area.

The best time of year to visit Swing Arm City OHV Dispersed Camping Area is in the spring and fall when temperatures are mild, averaging in the mid-60s to low-70s. Summers can be extremely hot, with temperatures reaching over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and winters can be cold, with temperatures dropping below freezing.
