Ledge County Park Campground in Wisconsin offers breathtaking views of the Horicon Marsh and its surrounding wildlife. Nearby points of interest include the Horicon Marsh State Wildlife Area, which offers hiking trails, bird watching, and hunting opportunities. The campground amenities include showers, flush toilets, fire rings, picnic tables, and electricity. Reservations are required and can be made up to 11 months in advance. The campground has 36 campsites, including some with water and electric hookups. The best time to visit is in the summer when temperatures range from 70-80°F. However, fall is also a popular time to visit when the colors of the surrounding maple trees change, and the temperatures average in the 50s to 60s°F.
