The campground is situated near the Gros Ventre River and is just a few miles away from the Bridger-Teton National Forest, making it an ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts.
The area is known for its abundant wildlife, including elk, deer, moose, and bears. Visitors can explore nearby hiking trails, go fishing in the river, or enjoy a scenic drive through the nearby mountains.
The campground offers a range of amenities, including picnic tables, fire pits, and vault toilets. There are 17 campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s best to arrive early to secure a spot.
