Alledonia is a small village located in eastern Ohio with a population of approximately 160 residents. The area has a humid continental climate, with mild summers and cold winters. The primary hydrology constituent is the Captina Creek, which flows through the village and is a popular spot for fishing and kayaking. Outdoor recreation opportunities in Alledonia also include hiking and camping in the nearby Egypt Valley Wildlife Area, which features over 10,000 acres of public land for hunting, fishing, and wildlife observation. Additionally, the village is home to the Alledonia Pioneer Days festival, a celebration of the area's pioneer heritage held annually in July.
