Chatfield, Ohio is a small village located in the north-central region of the state. The area is part of the Sandusky River watershed and is surrounded by agricultural land, resulting in high levels of nitrates and phosphates in local waterways. Despite this, Chatfield is home to a popular fishing lake, known for its large population of white bass, crappie, and bluegill.
