Watershed Hydrology

The Apalachicola watershed (HUC 03130011) covers approximately 19,000 square miles in the southeastern United States, including parts of Georgia, Alabama, and Florida. The hydrology of the region is heavily influenced by the Apalachicola River, which flows through the watershed and empties into the Gulf of Mexico. The region experiences a humid subtropical climate, with hot summers and mild winters.
