Watershed Hydrology

The Upper Saline watershed, HUC 08040203, covers an area of approximately 1,539 square miles in central Arkansas. The hydrology of the area is primarily influenced by the Ouachita Mountains to the south and the Arkansas River to the north. The region experiences a humid subtropical climate, with hot summers and mild winters.
