The Whitewater River run from the Headwaters of Side Channel in Sec 12, T25S, R22E to Horse Canyon in Sec 2, T25S, R22E in New Mexico is a 9-mile segment with a Class III rating. The ideal streamflow range is between 300-600 cubic feet per second (cfs). During the spring, the flow can reach up to 1,000 cfs, making it a more challenging run.
