Moline Power, also known as Structure 161, is a hydroelectric facility located in Moline, Illinois along the Mississippi River. Owned by the US Army, this Federal structure was designed and constructed by the Department of Defense in 1896. With a primary purpose of generating hydroelectric power and facilitating navigation, the dam stands at a height of 31 feet and has a hydraulic height of 16 feet.

Managed by the US Army, Moline Power has a low hazard potential and a very high risk assessment rating. The dam has a controlled spillway with a width of 6 feet and a maximum discharge capacity of 312,000 cubic feet per second. Although the current condition assessment is not available, the structure has a storage capacity of 30,000 acre-feet and plays a significant role in water resource management in the region.

Despite its age, Moline Power continues to operate under the oversight of the US Army, ensuring regular inspections and maintenance to uphold its structural integrity. As a key feature along the Mississippi River, this concrete dam serves as a vital component of the local water infrastructure, supporting both hydroelectric power generation and navigation activities in the area.
