Shakey Lakes Dam, also known as Shakey Dam, is a private dam located in Menominee, Michigan, along the Shakey River.

Built in 1926, this earth dam stands at a height of 14 feet and has a length of 120 feet. Its primary purpose is for recreation, with a normal storage capacity of 640 acre-feet and a maximum storage of 1840 acre-feet. The dam's spillway, which is controlled, has a width of 36 feet and a maximum discharge of 2140 cubic feet per second.
Managed by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (DEGLE), Shakey Lakes Dam has a significant hazard potential but is currently in satisfactory condition as of the last assessment in December 2019. With a very high risk rating, the dam is inspected every four years to ensure its structural integrity and safety. Despite its age, Shakey Lakes Dam continues to provide recreational opportunities for the local community and visitors, highlighting the importance of proper maintenance and monitoring of water resources in the face of changing climate conditions.
