The Ishikari-heigen ski resort is located in the Ishikari Mountains of Hokkaido, Japan. The Ishikari Mountains are a subrange of the Hidaka Mountains, which are part of the larger Pacific Ring of Fire mountain chain. The ski resort is situated on the slopes of Mount Maruyama, which offers a variety of terrain and runs for skiers and snowboarders. The resort also offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, making it a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts.

Ishikari Heigen ski resort in Japan offers a variety of trails for skiers of all levels. The best trails for advanced skiers are the black diamond runs on the east side of the mountain. An interesting fact is that the ski resort was originally used as a training ground for the Japanese Olympic ski team. For beginner skiers, the gentle slopes on the western side of the mountain are recommended. The best apres ski bar is the cozy and welcoming Snow Pub located near the base of the resort, serving delicious food and drinks.
