Kanazawa Seymour is a popular ski resort in Japan, known for its quality snow and stunning views of the Sea of Japan. The resort offers a variety of trails for skiers of all abilities, but the best runs are on the upper mountain where there are challenging black diamond and mogul runs. An interesting fact about the resort is that it was originally created as a training ground for the Japanese Self Defense Force in the 1950s, but was later turned into a ski resort for the public. For beginner skiers, the gentle slopes at the bottom of the mountain are perfect for learning. After a long day on the slopes, the best spot for apres ski is the cozy and welcoming Kanazawa Seymour Lodge, where there is a wide selection of drinks to choose from.
