Washington’s heaviest snowfalls are forecasted in the North and Central Cascades. Easy Pass, near North Cascades ski areas like Mt. Baker Ski Area, leads the state with a 5-day forecast of 32 inches and a current snowpack depth of 222". Brown Top and Lyman Lake—both close to the Mt. Baker area—expect 8–11 inches in the next 5 days, with Lyman Lake already seeing 7" in the past day. Thunder Basin (12") and Mf Nooksack (15") further support robust accumulation in this region. These conditions point to excellent powder potential at Mt. Baker, which benefits directly from nearby terrain and elevation.
