Valmorel is a charming ski resort located in the Savoie region of France. The ski area offers over 150km of skiing with a variety of runs suitable for all levels, however, the best trails are undoubtedly the blues of the Lanchettes and the Combe. Also, beginner skiers should try the easy green runs of the Pierrafort and the Altispace areas. An interesting fact about Valmorel is that it is a car-free resort, which adds to its quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The resort has a great selection of après-ski bars, including La Luge and Le Perce Neige, but we recommend trying La Grange for a cozy mountain cabin atmosphere and delicious mulled wine.
