William Hawrelak Park ski resort is a small beginner-friendly resort located in the heart of Edmonton, Alberta. The park features several easy trails for beginners and families, with stunning views of the city and the North Saskatchewan River Valley. An interesting fact is that the park was named after William Hawrelak, a former mayor of Edmonton who was instrumental in developing the park. For beginners, we suggest trying out the gentle slopes of the Bunny Hill. After skiing, The Black Dog Freehouse is a great spot for apres ski drinks and pub fare.
