The Titcomb Mountain Ski Resort in Maine is located in the Titcomb Mountain range, which is a part of the Appalachian Mountain range. Titcomb Mountain Ski Resort is located in Farmington, Maine and offers 16 trails for skiers of all levels. The best trails for advanced skiers are the Eastside and The Glades, while the Westside and Schoolhouse are perfect for beginners. Interestingly, Titcomb Mountain was originally built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, a New Deal-era agency that employed young men to work on public projects during the Great Depression.
