The ramp is approximately 20 feet wide, making it suitable for small to medium-sized boats. According to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, the lake permits all types of recreational boating craft, including fishing boats, pontoons, kayaks, and canoes. As of 2021, there are no restrictions on the type of watercraft that can be launched from the Mountain View Road 332 boat ramp.
