Clam Gulch State Rec Area in Alaska offers breathtaking views of the Cook Inlet and the nearby Chugach Mountains. The area provides many activities such as clam digging, fishing, and beachcombing. The camping area has 80 campsites with picnic tables, fire rings, and water access nearby. The campground is first-come-first-serve and offers flush toilets, showers, and dump stations. The best time of year to visit is from mid-June to mid-August when the average temperature is 58-63°F.
