The desert setting is quiet and remote, with wide-open skies ideal for stargazing. There are 14 RV sites with full hookups (water, sewer, electric), picnic tables, fire rings, and a few tent spots. Amenities include flush toilets, showers, and potable water. Reservations are required; call ahead, especially in winter. No dispersed camping is allowed on base. Fees are low and vary by site type. The area features desert scenery with nearby access to Sonoran Desert National Monument. Best time to visit: October–April for cooler temps and clear skies.
